From a Growing Wellness Practice to a Clearer Brand Experience

Six Senses Healing

Clarifying the brand, customer journey and digital experience so the business could communicate its depth and quality more clearly.

The Situation —
The business had grown. The brand needed to catch up.

Six Senses Healing had developed deep expertise in wellness and therapeutic practices, but its existing brand and digital presence no longer fully reflected the business it had become.

The challenge wasn’t simply to create a new look.

The brand needed to communicate:

  • What the business really offered
  • What made its approach different
  • Who it was for
  • Why people could trust it
  • How someone could move from discovering the brand to understanding the services and taking the next step

The business had evolved. Its communication needed to evolve with it.

The Challenge

How do you make a complex wellness offering feel clear, professional and still human?

Wellness services can be difficult to explain. Some of the concepts are personal, experiential or abstract — while potential clients still need clear information before they decide whether the service is right for them. At the same time, the brand needed to feel professional without losing the warmth and personal quality that made the practice unique.

The challenge was to bring those two sides together:

1. Clarity + depth.   2. Professionalism + warmth.   3. Strategy + personality

My Role —
Marketing Consultant · Brand Designer · Web Designer

Finding the Brand Direction —
Before designing the brand, I stepped back to understand the business.

The first step was to clarify what Six Senses Healing already had — and what wasn’t coming through clearly enough.

Through discovery, competitor research and conversations around the business and its audience, I looked at:

  • The Business
What does Six Senses Healing offer, and what makes its approach distinctive?
  • The Audience
What do potential clients need to understand before they feel ready to take the next step?
  • The Positioning
How can the business communicate its expertise without becoming distant or overly clinical?
  • The Experience
What should someone understand and feel as they move from first discovering the brand to exploring the services?

This gave us a clearer foundation for the visual identity, messaging and website.

01 — Refining the Brand
With the strategic direction clarified, I refined the visual identity to create a more cohesive and confident expression of the brand.

This included:

  • Logo refinement
  • Colour palette
  • Typography
  • Visual direction
  • Brand messaging
  • Communication guidelines
  • Applications across digital touchpoints

The aim wasn’t to make the brand look more polished for the sake of it.

It was to make the visual language better reflect the depth, professionalism and human quality of the practice.

02 — Rebuilding the Digital Experience

From a collection of information to a clearer customer journey.

The website needed to do more than present the services.

It needed to help visitors understand the business, recognise what was relevant to them and know what to do next.

I reorganised the experience around a clearer journey: Discover → Understand → Explore → Trust → Take the next step

This meant simplifying the content structure, improving navigation and translating complex wellness concepts into clearer, more accessible communication. The visual identity and website were developed together so that the brand felt consistent from the first impression through to the deeper pages of the experience.

The Result —
A brand that better reflected the business behind it.

A brand that better reflected the business behind it. The project created a clearer connection between the business, its positioning, visual identity and digital experience.

The result was:

  • A clearer brand foundation
A more defined position and communication direction.
  • A stronger visual identity
A cohesive visual language that better reflected the quality and personality of the practice.
  • A clearer customer journey
A website structure that helped visitors understand the offer and navigate the experience more intuitively.
  • A more connected digital presence
Brand, messaging and website working together as one experience.

What I Brought to the Projectt —
Strategy thinking + brand design + customer experience

This project brought together three parts of my work:

  • Strategy
Clarifying the positioning, audience and message.
  • Brand
Turning that direction into a cohesive visual identity.
  • Experience
Creating a website and customer journey that made the brand easier to understand and explore.

The value wasn’t in any one deliverable. It was in connecting them so the business could communicate more clearly as a whole.
