💫 Background Story: Building a Brand From Scratch with Purpose and Personality

When ChiaDNA, a creative lifestyle and illustration brand, first began, there was no logo, no product line, and no online presence, but only a clear vision and a spark of potential.

I set out to build the brand from the ground up, shaping its visual identity, product design, packaging, and e-commerce foundation while developing multichannel marketing strategies that brought its playful, purpose-driven personality to life.

As a newcomer in a crowded market, ChiaDNA needed to make a bold first impression — with limited resources and no existing brand foundation. The challenge was to:

  • Create a strong, distinctive identity that would resonate with conscious, design-loving consumers.

  • Develop packaging that blended storytelling with shelf appeal, bringing the brand’s personality to life.

  • Build an e-commerce platform that felt as engaging and memorable as a physical shop.

  • And do it all on a lean startup budget without compromising on creativity or consistency.

🎯 My Role: From Blank Page to Brand Launch

As an illustrator and visual designer with a business background, I led ChiaDNA’s brand journey from concept to launch—balancing creative vision with strategic, hands-on execution.

1. Developed the full brand identityincluding logo, color palette, typography, and tone of voice, that reflected the brand’s values and resonate with its audience.

2.Designed, built and managed an e-commerce website that served as both a sales platform and a storytelling hub, highlighting the brand’s creative products and unique personality.

3.Planned and executed multichannel marketing campaigns across social media, pop-ups, and online marketplaces to build brand awareness and drive early traction.

4. Collaborated with local shop owners, platform partners, and production vendors to ensure a seamless rollout and smooth day-to-day operations.

5. Designed eye-catching, story-driven product and its packaging that captured the brand’s personality and connected emotionally with customers.
